The 3 Major Chemicals found in Standard Commercial Fertilizers!

Processed Urea

Most generally processed from oil or petroleum. In large amounts it promotes leaf burn during foliar feeding, when combined with Muriate of Potash.

Ammonium Phosphate

Known as triple phosphate, it is a petroleum chemical that is processed three times to increase water solubility. It starts out as red rock phosphate, or a hard type of coal. After processing, the phosphoric acid is 4 - 8% available to the plant. The remaining amount sits in the soil to be broken down by soil micro-flora.

Eartheart Phosphorus comes from a soft-rock colloidal vein in Florida.

Muriate of Potash

Scientifically known as chlorinated potassium, Muriate of Potash is 50% chlorine.

For example, chlorine bleach is well known to sterilize or kill bacteria. It does the same job in the soil by eliminating beneficial micro-organisms. It also adds to leaf burn and alcohol toxification that is also a prime source of attraction for insects.
